About the Radiologic Technology Editorial Review Board

The mission of the Radiologic Technology Editorial Review Board is to promote and support scholarly inquiry and the dissemination of knowledge that contributes to the body of knowledge in the radiologic sciences.

ERB members have previous experience in scholarly publishing and represent the various specialties within the radiologic sciences. The ERB chairman, who is appointed by the ASRT Board of Directors, selects ERB members based on interest, qualifications and writing experience. Appointments to the ERB are for three years.

Radiologic Technology ERB members evaluate and approve articles submitted for the peer-reviewed section of the Journal. Manuscripts are reviewed by at least two ERB members using a double-blind peer-review process and according to strict standards. The Quantitative Research Checklist is used to review manuscripts that report original research results analyzed by quantitative methods. ERB reviewers use the Technical and Literature Review Manuscript Checklist to evaluate manuscripts that describe technical innovations or review the literature on a specific topic.

ERB members welcome questions concerning the ERB or the peer-review process. To meet the Radiologic Technology ERB please click here. To submit an article, consult the Guide for Authors link for complete instructions.
